This Privacy Policy governs the wayCenCal Barbell LLC, a California limited liability company (“Cencal Barbell”) collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of our website and related CenCal Barbell mobile application powered by GlowFox (the “App”). This policy applies to our App and all services offered by Cencal Barbell, including the website https://cencalbarbell.com/ (collectively, the “Site”).

It will notify you, the User, of the following:

  1. What Personally Identifiable Information is collected from you, how it is used and with whom it may be shared;
  2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your information; and
  3. The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.

By using any part of our Site, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as further outlined in this Privacy Policy.

Please note that this Privacy Policy does not govern the collection and use of information by companies that Cencal Barbell does not control, nor by individuals not employed or managed by Cencal Barbell. What Information Do We Collect?

 In short: We only collect personal information that you provide to us. We do not process, collect, or store sensitive information.


We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you participate in activities on our Site, purchase services or merchandise through our Site, or otherwise when you contact us.

In an ongoing effort to better understand and serve the users of our Site, Cencal Barbell may conduct research on our user and customer demographics, including their interests and behavior based on the information we collect. You can also limit information collection by uninstalling our App on your device and you may use the standard uninstall process available as part of your device for this purpose.

How Do We Use Your Information?


In short: We process information you provide to improve and administer our Site, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with laws. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent.

We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Site, including:

Companies and individuals that provide services on our behalf or help us operate our Site or our business (such as membership sign-up & management, booking classes and personal training sessions, payment processing, customer support, hosting, analytics, email delivery, and marketing).


External Data Storage Sites. We may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.


Professional advisors. Professional advisors, such as lawyers, accountants, auditors, and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services that they render to us.

Authorities and others. Law enforcement, government authorities, and private parties, as we believe in good faith to be necessary or appropriate to comply with law or for the compliance, fraud prevention and safety purposes described above.

Business transfers. If the ownership of all or substantially all our business changes, or all or some of our assets are sold as part of a bankruptcy or other proceeding, we may transfer your information to the new owner so that our Site can continue to operate. In such a case, your information would remain subject to the promises and commitments contained in this Privacy Policy until the acquiring party updates it. Mobile Services. If you access our Site through a mobile device, you agree that we may communicate with you regarding Cencal Barbell by SMS, MMS, text message, or other electronic means to your mobile device. In the event you change or deactivate your mobile telephone number, you agree to promptly update your Cencal Barbell account information to ensure that your messages are not misdirected. Please note that your wireless service carrier’s standard charges, data rates, and other fees may apply where you access our Site through a mobile device. In addition, downloading, installing, or using certain services on a mobile device may be prohibited or restricted by your carrier, and not all services may work with all carriers or devices.

Law Enforcement and Special Cases. We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials to enforce and comply with the law. We will disclose any information about users upon a valid request by government or law officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process (including, without limitation, subpoenas), to protect your property and rights, or the property and rights of a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to stop activity that we consider illegal or unethical.

How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?


In short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.

If you have instructed, allowed, elected, or otherwise initiated a request for your contact information to be transmitted to one or multiple third parties via our Site, you must contact each third party individually with a request to withdraw your consent.

Our Policy on “Do Not Track” Signals. We honor Do Not Track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track browser mechanism is in place. Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked.

Email Marketing. You have the option of opting in or unsubscribing from our email list. Access and Deletion Rights


In short: You have the right to know what information we have about you and to ask us to delete that information.


Access Request Rights. You have the right to request that we disclose how we collect and use your personal information. To submit an access request, see Exercising Access and Deletion Rights below. Once we receive and confirm your request, we will disclose to you:

  • The categories, sources, and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you.
  • Our business or commercial purpose for collecting that personal information.
  • The categories of third parties with whom we shared that personal information during the past 12 months (if any).
  • If we sold or disclosed your personal information, we will provide you with two separate lists disclosing:
    • the personal information categories that each category of recipient purchased (i.e., sales); and
    • the personal information categories that each category of recipient obtained (i.e., disclosures for a business purpose).

Information Collected From Children

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cencal Barbell’s Site, including our App and related services. Cencal Barbell does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Our services are not designed for use by individuals under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please do not use our Site and/or submit any information through our Site. If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided personal information to Cencal Barbell through our Site, please contact us through our contact form located athttps://cencalbarbell.com/contact/, and we will delete that information from our databases to the extent required by law.

U.S. Based Service

Our center of operation is in California, USA. Your Personally Identifiable Information therefore is held in the United States and any transactions are processed in US Dollars on servers within the United States. As such, all information is held in accordance with US laws and procedures, which differ from those in other countries. By using our services, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to these data policies.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy as we deem necessary or appropriate because of legal compliance requirements or changes in our business practices.
